peaky Blinders fans will be awaiting the much anticipated sixth series of the show which has begun filming.

The BBC period crime drama first burst onto screens in 2013 and had viewers gripped from the get-go as we follow the trail and tribulations of Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his Birmingham based gang.

Tommy's younger brother John was brutally murdered by the Changrettas at the beginning of season four, and his death came as a shock.

After receiving the Black Hand Christmas card from the mafia, John did not react as fast as his brothers.

He missed a call from gang leader Tommy where he planned to tell his brother to leave his countryside home and bring him and his entire family back to Small Heath.

What’s the latest news?

  • Stephen Graham has officially joined the cast and has been seen on set
  • Australian actor James Frecheville has joined the cast for season six
  • Charlie Murphy will not be returning as Jessie Eden in season six
  • Season six, which is confirmed to be the show’s last, began production in January 2021.

Chelsea won the Champions League for the second time as a Kai Havertz goal secured a tense 1-0 victory over Manchester City in Saturday's final in Porto, shattering  Pep Guardiola's dream  of lifting the trophy for the third time. Havertz rounded Ederson to score three minutes before half-time at the Estadio do Dragao and the Chelsea players ran to celebrate with the German.
